This Cell Chip is the correct option for all cell phone models except iPhones. If you use an iPhone, please refer to the iCell Chip product instead. Google pixel models 5 and beyond require 2 cell chips due to bigger batteries, faster charging, camera system, and processor. 


Compatibility Notice
  • This chip is not compatible with wireless (magnetic) chargers
  • It should not be used with metal phone cases or EMF “shielding” phone cases
  • If you plan to use this chip, you may need to switch to a non-metal, non-magnetic phone case


Installation Options
1. No Case:
  • You can apply the Cell Chip directly to the back of your phone using double-sided tape or packing tape.


2. With a Case:
  • Due to its size (required for effectiveness), the chip may or may not fit between your phone and case.
  • If it fits, place it between the phone and a non-metal case


If it doesn’t fit, you can:
  • Attach it to the outside of your case using strong double-sided tape or packing tape
  • Avoid using silicone-only cases (the surface may not hold tape securely)


3. With Add-ons on the Case:
  • If your case has a magnet, kickstand, or finger loop, this WILL interfere with chip placement. In that case, we recommend switching to a plain, compatible case.


4. Alternative Option – Card Holder Pouch:
  • You can also place the Cell Chip inside a sticky credit card holder pouch, attached to the back of your existing case (as long as the case AND credit card holder pouch is non-metal and non-magnetic).


The chip is non-directional, so either side can face the phone.
